Guiliani Was Paid For Counseling In Romania

Rudy Giuliani said he was paid by a consulting firm when he sent a letter last week calling for changes to Romania’s anti-corruption program. Giuliani’s letter to Romania’s president appeared to take sides over how to rein in high-level corruption. The U.S. State Department, however, has expressed concern at recent political upheaval in Romania. Giuliani said his letter “was based on a report I reviewed” by former FBI director Louis Freeh. Freeh runs a global consulting firm called Freeh Group International Solutions, says Politico. Giuliani said the Freeh group is paying his fee, but he wouldn’t reveal how much he’s being paid.
